Monday nights training was using an “alternate” water supply at Cooper Creek on Somerdale Rd. While Somerdale has plenty of fire hydrants, our fire department is assigned to the Camden County Large Diameter Hose Task Force for when high volume of water to flow over a long distance.
Thank you to Eco Pure Construction for allowing us to utilize your parking lot to keep us off of the roadway and safety for our members while we trained

Friday night’s duty crew stopped by to wish two of our Junior Firefighters well for their prom.
Megan and Rebecca have been dedicated members since joining our department attending training, special events and answering emergency calls.
Our Junior Firefighter Program is comprised of 16 and 17 year olds training to prepare for the formal fire academy, while serving our community. Interested in finding out more. Stop at the firehouse on any Monday night.

Billy has attended the EMT course for several months and his dedication to his studies, led to such a great achievement.

Due to the weather forecast, we are cancelling our parade scheduled for tomorrow at 10 am. However, please come out and honor those that gave their lives for our freedom at the Raws Tait VFW, tomorrow at 11 am for their Memorial Service. And remember to thank every Veteran for their service.

The Officers and Members of the Somerdale Fire Department are proud to congratulations to Firefighter Logan Robenolt for accomplishing his educational goals. Logan graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro with a Masters Degree and is now a Board Certified Athletic Trainer.
