The Somers Point School District of approximately 850 students (Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade) consists of three schools. The Jordan Road School, constructed in 1966 with an addition in 1991, is a 4th through 8th grade building which houses approximately 375 students. Dawes Avenue School was recently constructed in 1998 and sits on the other side of town and houses PreK through 3rd grade, app

roximately 400 students. The third school is the New York Avenue School, constructed in 1914 with an addition in 1922 and refurbished in 2005. The New York Avenue School houses our three pre-Kindergarten handicapped classes, which are half-day sessions, with approximately 70 students. The school also houses the Central Office, Business Office, and Child Study Team Office.

We will be at the NEW YORK AVE. SCHOOL east parking lot entrance 815am to 1230pm.
The program is open to all families in the Somers Point School District with students in school. (Mainland, CharterTech, Home Schooled and St. Joes included)
There is no sign up for the program. It is for any family that has food insecurity or is in need.
The program provides two boxes of shelf stable items and a box of fresh vegetables.

Family Pack pick up is this Wednesday June 19th at the New York Avenue School.
The time will be 1:30pm to 5pm.
The time change is due to the fact that the 19th is the last day of school.

The Family Pack program will continue through the summer months.
We will be continuing the first and third Wednesday's but the pick up will be in the morning not the afternoon.

Box 2: 1% Shelf Stable Milk, Cereal, Corn Flakes, Mac & Cheese, Chicken Noodle Soup, Canned Green Beans, Unsw. Applesauce, Canned or Mixed Fruit

Menu 8 - Milk, 1% Shelf Stable, Bran Flakes Cereal, Canned Chunk Chicken, Canned Carrots, White Rice, Canned Ravioli, Canned Sliced Peaches
