Registration is now open for LEGO Robotics with the Tolland County Robotics Foundation ( https://www.tcrobotics.org/home ) LEGO RISE (Robotics, Innovation, Skills, and Engineering) program! Held on Tuesdays from January 18th to April 30th, this is an introductory program for K-4th grade students. Teams of five will work together to learn about a field of engineering and program a LEGO Robot to complete challenges!

It’s that time again! 📚🍂 Join us this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the Friends of the SPL Fall Book Sale! Friday from 4-7pm pay $10 to get in and get first pick! Saturday from 9-2 and specials for educators. Sunday from 10-2 and it is half price day! On Sunday you can also fill a Friends of the Library tote bag for $12 or $7 if you have previously purchased the bag. Paperbacks are .50-$1 and hardcovers are $2. We will also have a large selection of puzzles, CDs and DVDs. All proceeds from this sale go towards the children’s and adult programming throughout the year. We hope to see you there!
