Wires are down across the intersection of Route 118 and Route 202 and a transformer exploded as well. These wires are live. NYSEG is in route. Please avoid this intersection if possible. We will update progress.

Update: repairs have been made and the intersection is again open for business!

NYSDOT has informed us that they have cleared their DEC issues regarding the Route 202 Culvert Project. They are working with the contractor on expediting the schedule in order finish the project before school opens! Route 202 will be closed starting Monday 7/13/26 and will remain closed until the work is completed. They will be updating their variable message boards shortly. Please plan accordingly!

7/5/26 10:30 AM Storm Update.

We believe we have all of our roads opened. Some more trees shook out overnight, but we believe everything is passable. We will be working on cleanups for the majority of the week so please be patient if we have pushed trees or debris off of the road by your property. We will be back for it.

NYSEG is working with us to get power back, but we are probably looking at 48 hours before everything is back up. They have brought in extra contractors to begin to repair lines and poles. We have wires down or trees in wires on 118 at the Preserve, Greene Rd, Arden Dr/Noel Court, Lake Rd and Primrose Drive. We have a snapped pole and low hanging wires on Cortlandt Manor. NYSEG will be working on getting the primary lines put together first and then moving to the secondary areas. Please be patient, we know this isn’t ideal for any of our residents.

Please treat any traffic lights that are out as four way stops and please do not go near any down wires or trees in wires. If you are seeing something that we haven’t mentioned please stop it in the comments below. We have crews on the road and will respond accordingly.

11PM Update:

202 and 118 are now passable, but multiple traffic lights remain out (NYSEG working on restoring power cut out by a tree net Baldwin Pl). Lake Road is open, Park Lane is open, Sunderland and Plumbrook are open.

Primrose Drive still blocked by tree in wires. Arden Dr still blocked by tree in wires. End of Juniper still blocked by tree in wires. NYSEG is aware of all three and will move to them once they get the main lines back up.

If you know of anything else please let us know in the comments. Stay away from any down wires and try to give the crews room to work. Stay safe Tuskers and Happy 250 America!!! 🇺🇸

202 impassable at Lincoln Hall and Lake. Lake Road blocked in multiple spots. Park Lane blocked. Primrose Dr blocked with tree in wires. Working with PD, SVFD and NYSEG. I’m sure there are more roads blocked and trees down and roads blocked. Calls are still coming in. Feel free to add in new reports in the comments please. We will update you as we go. Please stay off the roads if you can.
