Another new business comes to Somerset!

- A new Verizon store is celebrating its Grand Opening this weekend at 558 G.A.R. Highway in Somerset. The store is sandwiched between the Jersey Mike’s and Starbucks at the Fairfield Commons plaza. The Verizon store will open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.

The new 2,000 square foot Somerset Verizon store is operated by Victra, the largest Verizon retail partner. Victra also has Verizon stores locally in Warwick, Newport and Plymouth.

Fairfield Commons is a multifaceted development designed to cater to both residents and visitors. The development includes the 110-room Fairfield Inn hotel and a 6,000-square-foot retail building featuring Starbucks, Jersey Mike’s, and Pancheros.

A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open next week. Slade Farm, a new 130-unit multifamily apartment project was completed last year.
