BRADY BRIDGE CLOSED

The Somerset County Commissioners announce the closing of Bray Bridge located in Stonycreek Township which carries Yonai Road T-515, effective October 31, 2025. This action is necessary for the repair a stringer under the bridge.

Brady Bridge will remain closed until further notice.

The Somerset County 60th First Alternate/Acting Fair Queen, Jovi Jeske, attended the Somerset County Commissioner's meeting on Tuesday, August 26th to accept, on behalf of the Somerset County Fair Board, a Proclamation commemorating the 125th year anniversary of the Fair from the Commissioners.

ROCKINGHAM BRIDGE CLOSED

The Somerset County Commissioners announce the closing of ROCKINGHAM BRIDGE, on Whispering Pine Road, over Dark Shade Creek, in Shade Township, to all traffic effective immediately.

This action is necessary for the repair of the bridge.

Rockingham Bridge will remain closed until further notice.

A detour will be posted in the area for individual affected by the closing of this bridge.

The Commissioners at a Special Emergency Board of Elections Meeting this morning, made a motion to adopt the below listed Resolution to change the polling location in Garrett on Tuesday the 20th of May 2025 due to the major flooding. The Polling location will be moved from the Garrett Borough Office to the Garrett Borough Fire Department located at 303 Jackson Street Garrett, PA 15542.
