*Our sidewalk clearing equipment has broken down. We will continue picking away at it tomorrow but it will be slow going until we can get repairs or another piece of equipment rented. If you live along the designated school route and are able to clean your sidewalk we would really appreciate it. Thanks

Monday December 1st will be our final yard waste pick-up day for the season, (it needs to end so our trucks can be equipped for snow removal) pick-up will resume again in the spring.

Winter reminders: The no overnight parking ordinance went into effect on 11/15. Also please refrain from depositing or pushing any snow into or across the street. Thanks to everyone for your patience and help with the storm clean-up. Just a quick reminder that if your brush is to big to bundle please place it cut end towards the curb for easier pickup (MAX 6ft IN LENGTH). If it is a big mess of branches it takes us 2-3 times longer to pick through the pile and get it into our trucks. If you are able to haul your own so you can get it out of your yard sooner please call 247-5555 and we will return your call with directions to the compost site.

07/29/2025

The Public Works Department is out continuing to clear the road and right of way within the Village. Traditional yard waste pickup will be suspended until at least next week. (we will not be picking up grass clippings) Please try to bundle your branches as good as possible and place any larger branches (must fit in the back of pickup) cut end towards the curb for easier pickup. If you are able to haul your own branches to our compost site, please call 715-247-5555 and we will get back to you with directions. Thanks!
