Today members of Parker’s Mill Fire Department worked on ladder maintenance on L55. Units cleaned all old grease off, washed and installed new grease to the rub rails of the aerial ladder. Regular service makes things work so much better. We take pride in all our equipment to better serve us and the people of Pulaski County.

Parker’s Mill responded to a 10-46 with confirmed entrapment to assist Burnside Fire Dept. Units arrived on scene, secured and set up a landing zone. Dispatch advised helicopter canceled, units then assisted Burnside Fire with cleaning up the road way

Burnside Fire crews were dispatched to traffic light 25 (the Highway 27/914 intersection) for a 3 vehicle MVC with confirmed entrapment in one vehicle. The patient was extracted from the vehicle via entry through the back hatch. Crews assisted with patient care. Somerset-Pulaski County EMS transported 4 patients to the hospital. Crews cleared debris and fluids from the roadway prior to reopening it to traffic and returned to service.

Also assisting on scene were Somerset Pulaski County Rescue Squad, Parkers Mill Fire Department, Burnside Police Department, Somerset Police Department.
