When every second counts, preparation matters. We encourage our community to be ready before we get there. Simple steps like turning on outside lights, unlocking doors, securing pets, moving vehicles from the driveway, and having a current medication list available can help first responders reach and care for patients faster. Your preparation can save valuable time when it matters most. Together, we can help ensure the best possible outcome during an emergency.

A huge THANK YOU to Major Matt Johnson and EMTs Kevin Frye and Cory Ehrsam for their assistance today in helping meet the needs of one of our hospice patients in her home in rural Pulaski County.
Not only did these gentlemen provide excellent care for our patient, but they also helped us keep her comfortably at home so she did not have to be transported to the hospital. Their compassion, quick response, and teamwork made a tremendous difference for both our patient and her family.
We would also like to thank Chelsea Blasingim, who took our initial call and immediately sprang into action. After hearing the need, she quickly connected us with Major Johnson, who did not hesitate to send assistance.
We are incredibly thankful for Somerset-Pulaski County EMS and all they do for our patients and the entire Pulaski County community each and every day. Your dedication and service do not go unnoticed! 💜
