One week until our 5th Budding Gardeners course starts! Join us on Thursdays in June at 10:00 am for special courses from the Penn State Master Gardeners of Somerset County. These courses teach children the basics of gardening, including the following topics:

- Bridget will introduce students to the history of the Mostoller Goose Bean, as well as the topic of how seeds germinate and are planted.
- Pam will teach us about how "good" bugs can help maintain gardens and plants, allowing with a special ladybug craft.
- Susan will teach about the journeys of Monarch Butterflies through "The Little Butterfly that Could", and the amazing story of butterfly migration.
- Ellie will present fascinating facts about sunflowers, their ability to track the sun and of course, their delicious seeds.

After each session, a free children's lunch will be available from the Summer Youth Cafe program at 11:00 pm.
