Each season, SCC Fine Arts brings more than 600 community members to campus through performances, film events, and creative programming. These audiences include families, educators, community leaders, and individuals who actively support local businesses.

A year of creativity, connection, and community impact.

From international film festivals to student performances, workshops, and community events. SCC Fine Arts brought people together in powerful ways during the 2025–26 season.

We had:
-> 1,078 film submissions from around the world
-> Student and community theatre productions
-> Hands-on art classes and workshops
-> Community dance events with 100+ participants
And we’re only just getting warmed up.

As we look ahead to 2026–27: we’re inviting local businesses and community partners to help us grow even more opportunities for students and community!

At long last, we are excited to announce that SCC Theatre will be presenting "Sleep Hollow" written by Harper K. Lee! Join us as we bring life to the desolate town of Sleepy Hallow, where terror takes the night and the dead never find rest!

Auditions will be held August 20-22. Performances will be November 6-8 and 13-15.

Now that our team is caught up reviewing our recent pool of short plays, we are RE-OPENING SUBMISSIONS!!!

Going forward, submissions will remain open until the deadline (Monday, August 31) with NO FURTHER DELAYS, no matter how many submissions we receive. If you have not yet been contacted by us, then your short play is still under consideration. And of course, remember our guidelines:

-Script CANNOT exceed ten pages

-Plays can be any genre or setting, but must implement fairytale or medieval fantasy elements🧚‍♀️🐉
