Somerset-Pulaski Morning Rotary Club had the opportunity this week to participate alongside clubs across Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama for a record breaking single day donation of shoes to Soles4Souls.

The total impact of the collective donation was:
• 10,281 pairs of shoes collected
• 12,851 pounds of shoes diverted from landfills
• $93,043.05 in economic opportunities created

These shoes are sent to countries around the world (as well as right here in Somerset, KY) providing relief and opportunity for many.
