Congratulations to Briana Lucas, SCTC's May PM-Student of Distinction! Briana attends North Star High School and is in the SCTC Computer Networking program. She was nominated by her instructor Ms. Nancy Scarton.

“Briana has always been an outstanding student with an even better attitude,” said Ms. Scarton. “She is always there for classmates and shows strong leadership skills. She constantly looks over her assignments, creates study guides, flashcards and other projects to help with studying. Briana has been a class lead and class officer in Computer Networking.”

Briana participates in SkillsUSA where she is a member of the courtesy corps, a District winner, and a State competitor.

Congratulations to Caleb Snyder, SCTC's May AM-Student of Distinction! Caleb attends Meyersdale Area High School and is in the SCTC Masonry program. He was nominated by his instructor Mr. Mark Lyons.

“Caleb is a hard worker who shows initiative in the lab as well as in theory instruction,” said Mr. Lyons. “He does excellent work, stays on task, works well as a team member or by himself. Caleb is well mannered, polite, has excellent attendance, and shows leadership qualities. He is dependable, cooperative, and is always willing to lend a helping hand.”
