Firebrook Community Park

We are looking for mental health agencies, community organizations, churches, businesses, and groups to set up booths at "SJWC's 2nd Annual Healing Minds, Hearts, & Hands" on May 14th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Firebrook Community Park.

We are specifically hoping to have games and activities for children and families, information for families to take home that can help them with mental health issues (stress, bullying, depression, etc.), and freebies or prizes (NEW books, toys, board games, toiletries, art and school supplies, etc.) We also need vendors or organizations to help supply food, sweets, and drinks onsite at no charge to our attendees. Think of this as a MISSION and not a fundraiser! If you are interested in being part of this event, please email us at [email protected] ASAP!

We want this event to be COMPLETELY FREE for the children, individuals, and families who attend. We are not charging for booth space or for anyone to enjoy the evening!

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all the vendors who participated in The Kite Festival, including The Book Mobile, Readers to Leaders, Memorial Preschool, Aegis Mental Health, Pep& Pizazz, Somerset Pulaski Morning Rotary, Wellsprings, and Pulaski Early Childhood.

The Kite Festival enjoyed ideal conditions, with considerable wind and pleasant warmth. Thanks are due to vendors, Judge Executive Marshall Todd and staff for park cleanliness, Danny Weddle for overseeing today’s parking the Board for ensuring an enjoyable experience, and all participants for savoring the lovely day.
