We are proud to share that Somerset Junior-Senior High School has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s Best High Schools, earning a spot in the 2026–2027 Best High Schools rankings!

This national recognition reflects student achievement, college and career readiness, academic performance, graduation rates, and more.

Most importantly, this honor represents the collective effort of an entire community. Our students continue to challenge themselves and strive for excellence, supported every day by dedicated teachers, staff, administrators, families, school board members, coaches, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, community partners, and so many others.

This morning an emergency drill will be taking place at the Jr. and Sr. High campus. This drill will involve local emergency personnel and you may notice an increase in emergency vehicle traffic at the building. This is only a drill and provides an invaluable opportunity for our staff and local emergency professionals to be well prepared to ensure our Golden Eagles are well cared for.
