The Summersworth Historical Society sends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of Captain Anthony DeFrancesco. He was proud of the history of the Somersworth Police Department and was responsible for many of the items in the current police display. Our thoughts and prayers to his family and the many lives he touched.

On August 23, 2026, the museum’s High School Room was dedicated as the Donald Ouellette Room. Since 2004, Donald has devoted his time and energy to the Summersworth Historical Society and Museum. As a long‑standing Board Member, we honor his service and commitment and offer our sincere thanks for all he continues to do for us.

On Sunday August 9th 2026, we proudly dedicated the Clyde and Patricia Coolidge Room in deep gratitude for Patricia’s generous gift to the Summersworth Historical Society and Museum.
