This year's Book Publishing Program was a roaring success! We had 16 young authors ages 10 - 18 publish 13 books!

The program has been so successful that West Branch's very own Alison took the stage at this years' Massachusetts Library Association annual conference to discuss the program alongside librarians from Medford and Wakefield.

To view and check out this year or any of the previous years' works, search "West Branch Book Publishing Program" on our catalog or visit the West Branch Children's Room!

Join us on Sunday to learn about the history of Somerville's water source.

This film traces the displacement of people and the loss of a way of life in the Swift River Valley of western Massachusetts, when the Quabbin Reservoir flooded four towns in order to create water infrastructure for 52 Boston metropolitan communities.

After the screening, there will be a Q&A with the filmmaker, Roger Hagopian.
