From Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts: In 1974, Massachusetts enacted a package of anti-abortion restrictions. To this day, we have harmful laws on our books, including parental consent and judicial bypass requirements for young people seeking abortion care, and a provision that does not allow for families who receive a fatal fetal diagnosis to have an abortion later in pregnancy. Our state is home to some of the world's best health care institutions, and yet young people who lack a supportive parent are crossing state lines to access abortion, and women are being forced to fly across the country for care. The law is failing them and undermines our state's commitment to ensure safe and legal abortion is truly accessible. We can change that with the ROE Act.

Stop & Shop workers are making history. Within seven days, 31,000 workers at hundreds of stores in New England walked off the job. The contract between Stop & Shop, a subsidiary of the Dutch retail giant Ahold Delhaize, and the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) expired on Feb. 23 as workers....

Despite multi-billion-dollar profits, the company is attempting to enforce take-backs that hurt workers and their families. Stand in solidarity and remind your friends and family to respect the picket.
