As a program of the Somerville Homeless Coalition, we are proud of the work our organization is doing in the community. From fighting homelessness and eviction, to our program where we help folks provide food for themselves and their families, our work has never been more critical. We're thrilled to have Chemaly on our team as our first Case Manager!

Meet Chemaly, Project SOUP’s first Case Manager! In this new role, Chemaly will help our food pantry clients access critical resources to help ease the burden of poverty and prevent further crises. We’re excited to have a case manager based out of Project SOUP and reach more people!

Shoutout to these two gentleman, who used their first show as an opportunity to collect donations for our food insecure clients! After a soldout show, they collected nearly 250 pounds in food donations for us. Thank you!

Chef Dan does it again! After picking up all sorts of goods from our pantry, Dan cooked up these delicious meals for our Adult Shelter guests yet again. We're grateful for Dan!

Help Fight Hunger in our community! Project SOUP has been selected as the beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Bloomin' 4 Good Program! Each time the $10.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker is purchased at the Stop & Shop at 779 McGrath Highway, Somerville during the month of July, we will receive a $1 donation. $1 Donation = 10+ Meals Donated! It's as simple as that!

Chef Dan does it again! This delicious meal was dropped off at the Somerville Homeless Coalition Adult Shelter last week for guests to enjoy. They loved it!

Shoutout to Dan, who has been cooking weekly meals for the Somerville Homeless Coalition Adult Shelter guests! After getting fresh produce and other food from us, he puts together delicious, hearty meals and drops them off at the shelter.

Our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was a blast! Last week we celebrated the many volunteers who make our work at the pantry possible.

We can't overstate how grateful we are to all our volunteers. We would not have been able to help all the people that needed our assistance during the pandemic without the dedication and devotion of our team of volunteers. THANK YOU!
