Friends of the Somerville Public Library (MA) A nonprofit community membership organization supporting the mission of the Somerville Public Library It is 100% staffed by volunteers.

The Friends of the Somerville Public Library helps the library and its branches provide programs, services and materials not covered by the library's normal operating budget. The FSPL provides funds for the popular free and reduced price museum passes, license fees for movie screenings, Somerville Reads events, and more, so the Library can offer a variety of children's, young adult, and adult programs ranging from puppet shows to poetry readings and author talks.
