Little feet, big fun! 🏟️

Tot Soccer is a playful introduction to the game designed just for young children. Through age-appropriate activities, participants will work on basic soccer skills like kicking, dribbling, and coordination while building confidence and enjoying plenty of movement. Each session is led in a positive, encouraging environment where fun comes first!

⚽️ Ages 2-3: 10:00–11:00 AM
⚽️ Ages 4-5: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

Registration is now LIVE for the 3rd Annual Girls & Women in Sports Day! 💗

Join Somerville Parks & Recreation and Somerville High School Athletics on Tuesday, November 3 for a day of sports, movement, confidence-building, community, and fun. This year, we’re excited to bring the event to Somerville High School and expand the experience to four hours. 🙌

Youth in grades K–8 will rotate through different sports stations led by Somerville High School student-athletes. The day will also include snacks, pizza lunch, an event T-shirt, and more! This program is drop off only! Half of the day will be spent outdoors, so please dress accordingly and bring your water bottle! ⚽️🏀🏈🎾🏐

Prior to joining organized sports, register TODAY for our Sprout Sports program to learn the fundamentals of sports like soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and hockey- with an emphasis to develop motor skills, interest in sports, and to simply have fun! Keep building those swim skills this fall with Somerville Recreation! Our Fall Swim Lessons offer age- and ability-appropriate classes for everyone from little swimmers to adults, with a focus on water safety, confidence, and skill development. 💦

Our Adaptive Swim program provides children with physical and cognitive disabilities an opportunity to learn water safety and build swimming skills through an inclusive, personalized approach. 🌊

Designed for grades K–12, this program helps every swimmer feel supported, confident, and included in the pool! 💦

For the VERY FIRST TIME, Somerville Recreation is bringing you Adult Learn-to-Play Street Hockey! 🙌🔥

Whether you’ve never picked up a stick before or you’re just looking to brush up on your skills, this beginner-friendly program is all about learning the basics and having fun. Participants will build confidence in shooting, passing, stick handling, and more! 🏒💪
