The Somerville Parks and Recreation office will be closed today, Monday, May 25th, and will resume normal hours tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th in light of Memorial Day. This includes the cancellation of all programs and a pool closure for the day.

Today is dedicated to honoring and remembering military personnel and all who have served our country. We use this time to reflect on the sacrifices, ensuring their courage and commitment are never forgotten.

Join us on Saturday, June 27th to celebrate 20 years of Somerville Parks and Recreation’s annual Family Fun Day event! With bounce houses, games, music, face painting, and more, you’re sure to have a blast kicking off the summer with us- all for FREE! Get ready for a day of bonding, making memories, and enjoying a wide range of fun-filled activities fit for the whole family! 🎶🎨🎉

⏰ 8AM–3PM (3:30PM on Thursday)
💲 Somerville Residents Only: $50
⚠️ Only 10 spots available!

Participants will earn professional-level lifeguard training in aquatic rescue, CPR, first aid, and emergency response.

✅ Must complete all online coursework before the first day
✅ Must be 15 years old by the final class
✅ Swim prerequisites required

Come make a splash this summer with Somerville Parks and Recreation! 🏊☀️

From little minnows, big fish, and those in between- our swim lessons have a class suitable for everyone of all ages and abilities to build skills and confidence in the water. Classes will run from June 1st - July 9th and class times will vary depending on
the specific level. Check out website for more information. 💦

will be at 10AM on Monday, May 25th all on somervillerec.com! 💻

The Somerville Parks and Recreation office will be closed today, Monday, April 20th, and will resume normal hours tomorrow, April 21st in remembrance of Patriots Day.

Today, we honor the bravery and fight for American independence and use the day to serve as a reminder of the sacrifices in the pursuit of liberty and freedom, causing a pivotal moment in American history.
