Michael Lepp Spray Park is temporarily closed until further notice. Please stay tuned for updates.

John Long Spray Park is open daily from 11 am to 6 pm, weather permitting.

Repairs have been completed at the Michael Lepp Spray Park on Park Ave! The park is open daily for your enjoyment from 10am -7pm, weather permitting.

Please be advised that the Michael Lepp Spray Park will be operating from 12-6pm until repairs can be completed to the activator button. The water will be running continuously between those hours until further notice.

Also, please note that all Borough offices are closed until Monday, June 22.

CANCELLED: Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony, and Family Fun Ride

In consultation with the Somerville Veterans Committee and the Office of Emergency Management, the Borough of Somerville has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Memorial Day Parade, the Ceremony that follows, and the Family Fun Ride due to weather.

In place of the parade and ceremony, the Borough will host a brief prayer service at New Somerville Cemetery, located at 192 South Bridge Street, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 at 9:30 am. The public is welcome to attend. We invite the entire community to join us for this solemn observance honoring the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Somerville Recreation is looking for additional softball teams and players. Play begins in early April.

Women may register as substitute players for the Carol Pager Women's Softball League, played Thursday nights at Torpey Field. Non-Somerville residents are welcome.

Men's league team managers and free agents should contact the Recreation Director to join.

The Kenneth Cornell Pickleball Courts at Henry P. Vander Veer Memorial Park are now open! Courts have been fully resurfaced with new nets, fencing, and windscreens.
