Happy EMS Week! Today we would like to spotlight Kayla Hadley, Paramedic.

Kayla has worked at Cataldo Ambulance for over 5 years in total, and she has been working in EMS for about 13 years. Her favorite things about Cataldo are her coworkers, the opportunity to help students get the skills they need, and the communities we serve. One accomplishment she is most proud of is all the students she has helped get their skills and patient contacts.

Kayla is a mom to two boys, Connor and Jason. Her husband, who also works for Cataldo and as a firefighter and Paramedic for North Reading, is her biggest supporter and helps her make it all possible. She loves going up to their camp in Meredith, New Hampshire, and taking their boat out on Lake Winnipesaukee. She has a Belgian Malinois named Koda, and she loves the Bruins, reading, and spending time with her family and close friends.

Happy EMS Week! Today we would like to spotlight Anthony Altadonna, EMT.

Anthony has been with Cataldo Ambulance for almost 3 years, and he works in the field as an EMT. He has also been a TA and a CPR Instructor at the Cataldo Education Center for the past 2 years.

His favorite thing about working at Cataldo has been being able to learn from those wiser and more experienced than himself. Whether it’s debriefing a call at the hospital or talking back at one of the bases, Anthony has often sought advice or a different perspective from the people he works with so he can apply those lessons learned. He has always felt that there is always something new to learn and that there is always room for improvement to be made.

Anthony is most proud of the colleagues he has met and the friendships he has made here at Cataldo. Being able to support one another or celebrate each other has been one of the most impactful things for him at Cataldo.

Anthony is from New Jersey, has a dog, and likes to play guitar with his wife who sings. On the weekends, he likes to spend as much time with his family and friends as possible.
