Men's Breakfast: Saturday, October 22nd from 7:47-9:00 a.m. in the Worship Center. Breakfast will be catered by the Pine Tree Restaurant.

Walter Moberg will be the guest speaker for the morning. Tickets are $8/person, and can be purchased in The Commons after services on Sunday or in the church office during the week.

Walter Moberg will be the guest speaker for the morning. Walter moved to Tuolumne County 27 years ago, when he moved his furniture business to a shop on Woodham Carne. He has been a youth and associate pastor in Santa Cruz and in Tuolumne Counties. For the last 8 years, he has been running the Tuolumne County Children's Emergency Shelter. He has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. His wife of 36 years, Becky, died of cancer 5 years ago.

Tickets are $7/person, and can be purchased beginning Sunday (April 3rd) at a table in The Commons or in the church office during the week.

Men's Breakfast: Saturday, October 17th, 2015 from 7:47-9:00 a.m. in the Worship Center. Cost is $7/person. Breakfast is catered by Papa's New Roost. Tickets will go on sale beginning October 4th. Guest speaker is Mark Levering.

Mark retired as Senior Pastor of SBC in 2013, after serving for 40 years in that position. Since then, he has stayed busy traveling and spending time with grandkids, trying to stay as healthy as possible, and thankfully having the privilege of continuing actively in the ministry of SBC as Founding Pastor. Mark oversees our Caregiving Ministry, where caregivers regularly visit SBC folks who temporarily or permanently are not able to attend services. This fall, he is leading the Seniors Bible Study through a study of Lamentations. He also serves on the Missions Leadership Team and on the Boards of Spiritual Roads and Russian Orphan Rescue. With his wife, Evalyn, they host a weekly Life Group.

Men are invited to purchase tickets and come to the Worship Center on Saturday, April 20th from 7:47 to 9:00 a.m. for a delicious breakfast, fellowship, and a time to hear our special speaker, Derek Maxson, as he shares what God has placed on his heart.
Since becoming a committed Christian in his teens, Derek has been active in serving Christ in the Church and the community — believing that God has called each of us to empty our buckets so that God can fill us again.
Derek is an Elder at Sierra Bible and is President of Front Porch, a Sonora-based software company. He and his wife, Christy, along with their three daughters, love to serve together in ministry and had the opportunity to go serve with Hope of The Nations in Kigoma, Tanzania in 2011.
Tickets are $7/person and can be purchased on Sunday mornings after each service on March 24, April 7th, and April 14th. For more information, please contact John Osterholm (533-1175).

Pastor Mark Levering will be our main speaker, sharing reflections on 40 years of God’s faithfulness at SBC. As SBC has gone from 9 families that started the church and moved through 4 locations, we have seen God consistently provide for our needs and bless our ministry. Please plan on attending and enjoying a tasty breakfast catered from Papa’s New Roost. Bacon, Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy! Yum!

Tickets will go on sale Sunday morning, July 8th, between services.
