We are so excited that readership and donations are up at our little library on Nile River drive.
Unfortunately, we have had so much daily vandalism that we are contemplating closing the library. This is just so unnecessary, the library was opened so everyone in the community would have a place to read and exchange books at no cost. We constantly contribute to the library out of our own pockets and ask nothing back from the community but to be respectful. Obviously, that seems to be too much to ask.
So for now, we are asking everyone to please keep a lookout for a person or persons who have something out for this little library and they do not have a love for books like we do. We pray, that we are able to keep it open.
