We want to take a moment and thank these two fabulous teacher leaders as they have worked/are working through the IMSE: Institute for Multi-Sensory Education courses to become trainers for our district. 🙌🏽 The work is rigorous and comprehensive but they are dedicated above and beyond to all students being successful in reading! 💙💚 Thank you, April Jackson from Creekside Elementary and Lauren Martin, New Highland Elementary for your commitment to literacy success! 📚

The HCS Summer Meals program provides free meals to any child (the child does not have to attend Hardin County Schools) 18-years-old and younger. The program is funded and provided by the US Department of Agriculture.

Meals start June 3 and go through June 29, 2026.

After each month passes, Creekside celebrates our K-5 students that turned a whole year older! 🎉 We have many special kiddos who celebrate a birthday in May, June, or July! 🧁

Today, we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they graduated from CES! 🎓🩵We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Creekside. As they take the next step to middle school, we know they are ready to do great things! Congratulations —once a Bruin, always a Bruin! 🐾🎉

Our 5th grade students selected an influential person of interest to study, gathered research, prepared a museum exhibit display, and gave a speech as visitors interacted with them. Their extensive knowledge and speaking skills were showcased as students and parents toured the Living Wax Museum.

Our students celebrated “growing wild” this year with Kona Ice, inflatables, and a dance party 🐯 🦁 🐵 The fun continues tomorrow as students make last day of school memories with their teachers and friends! 💛
