Golf carts are NOT allowed to drive along the following streets! Per city ordinance, golf carts can only cross but cannot drive on them.
Golf carts must also display an up to date city license plate.

❌277 North
❌277 South
❌Tayloe Avenue
❌South Crockett
❌North Crockett

1300 block of S Crockett to the highschool is allowed.

To get to the golf course, you must go down Poplar St., turn onto cemetery road, and cross 277 N. You CANNOT use Water St to turn onto 277 N to get to the golf course.

Community Awareness Post:
Andras is a University student from Estonia doing his summer exchange program here in Sonora. He has completed the necessary paperwork and has obtained a permit from the City of Sonora to go door to door selling books and educational resources to help families with education. He does not represent, nor is affiliated with the City of Sonora or any school. This is a summer program to help him pay for his studies in University. If he knocks on your door, please know he is fully permitted and you don’t have to be alarmed.

Citizens of SONORA, our pool was broken into!
These individuals stole a good amount of items that we had just bought for our kiddos!
We have listed the items that were stolen below! If you happen to see any of these items or have any tips on who this was, please contact our local Police Department @ 325-387-3888.

- $900 worth of snacks, candy, and drinks.

Also, if you have anything you are willing to donate, please reach out! These items were for our kids and with budgets, we are unable to replenish these items at the moment.
