We have power outages throughout the county and in town. More snow dropped overnight creating unsafe travel conditions. It is with these condition in mind that we are calling for a Snow Day for Friday April 5, 2024 for all Tuolumne County Employees, except those that provide essential emergency services.

Sonora Main Library is closing due to low snow. We will be opening tomorrow April 5, 2024 at 11:00am

Groveland Branch Library, Twain Harte Branch Library and Tuolumne Branch Library will not be open today April 4, 2024 due to snow.

Sonora Main Library is currently open, we will be closing at 6:00 pm.

The theme for National Library Week 2023 is "There's More to the Story," illustrating the fact that in addition to the books in library collections, available in a variety of formats, libraries offer so much more. It's the perfect time to visit your library!

We have a pop-up library from 1:00pm - 5:00 pm today March 4 @ Jamestown Community Hall. Come and visit us, if you do not have a card we can issue you a temporary card and you will be allowed to check out 2 items. We plan on having this as
a stop every other Saturday to provide library service to the community of Jamestown.

We look forward to seeing and meeting you.

Tuolumne County Library Sonora Main Branch will be open today Saturday February 25, 2023 hours 10:00 am- 6:00pm. Story time today @10:30am

Tuolumne City Branch will be open from 10:00am-2:00pm

Twain Harte and Groveland will be closed today due to the weather.

Tuolumne County Snow Day Thursday Feb 23, 2023

The Board of Supervisors and County Administration is concerned for the safety of our employees and their families. Due to current weather conditions and forecast for tomorrow, all County offices, except for emergency services, will be closed tomorrow. This is for County buildings and services only. This does not effect the Courts or Schools. Please reach out to the Schools or the Courts for their operating hours tomorrow.

Santa is coming to Tuolumne City Branch located at 18636 Main Street in Tuollune, CA on Friday, December 2, 2022.

This Friday, November 4, 2022, Tuolumne City Branch will have a special story reader for the weekly story time. Sheriff Bill Pooley will be leading the program reading the stories. Come and have fun with our favorite sheriff.
