Out talking and knocking in Turlock today! I spoke to a number of residents around Dale Pinkney Park in Northeast Turlock. Thank you for having me and our volunteer teams!

We have a big goal to meet in the next 13 weeks. We will be doing another doorknock in two weeks for Turlock and more around the district. If you've wanted to get involved, if you feel we need change, this is the moment!

The Stanislaus Senior Ball was such a fun evening of food, dancing, and good company. Thank you Shirley Rogers of Ceres for you support — the Senior of the Year — and for Ralph, Susie Q, Maggie, Tom, James, and all the other folks I got to hang out with.

Seniors are often hit hardest by fire insurance, Medicare changes, housing unavailability, crime, and utility costs. Many of the same challenges hit young early career folks harder as well.

I believe we should take care of our elders and help local leaders implement efforts like the California Master Plan for Aging so they have good care affordable homes, active lives, and safe communities. And also go dancing with them here and there — they lived a lot of life to get here.

Looking forward to my 1-hour bowling with Ten Pin Bowling from the raffle!

Hey. Thank you. It is election day tomorrow and I have a lot to be grateful for including you reading this. 🫂🗳🇺🇲 Regardless of outcome, I have a few things to recognize.

Thank you for the friends, new and old, who have joined the last 12 months of this race. The people who have opened up their homes, who have put in tens or hundreds of hours building this campaign with me, who have dialed and texted and wrote postcards, who have taught me and shared their experiences and communities. For the hundreds too that supported "the kid" running for Supervisor in 2020 and 2024 to make change in Tuolumne, and allowed me those years to learn, lead and grow.

Truth be told, running for office is objectively a weird experience. There is nothing normal about putting a bunch of signs with your name and face on it at interscetions — and to represent 1 million people across so many areas? It is hard to wrap your head around until you listen and hear how much we have in common, from shared love and values to the shared anger and frustration.

There are a hundred reasons why people choose not to run — the one reason I stepped up for is that I was always taught that if you have the ability to help, you have the responsibility to help.

I am proud to stand up for our communities and go through this difficult process because we know what is at stake. But no one who runs does it alone. It is what WE have done on the ballot tomorrow, not just me.

— We have raised nearly $300,000 from small dollar donors and our friends in labor.

— We have become a leading major party candidate for the state legislature.

— We have visited all 13 counties in the district and most areas over a year, talking to literally tens of thousands of people.

— We have brought in the most endorsements from teachers, trade unionists, state electeds, newspapers, local officials, and even bipartisan voices.

It began with a tiny "war room" meeting of friends and supporters. What we have built is something strong and wide.

I couldn't be more grateful for the caliber of folks who care about that future and have joined in. Whatever happens tomorrow, thank you for your vote, your time, your patience, and your support in all its many forms. 🤝

What if our tax dollars actually fixed things and improved your life? What if my opponents paid as much attention to fixing housing and utility costs as getting President Trump's attention? What if we tried to improve these programs instead of just thinking blue or red?

That's why I am running — no nonsense. Just common sense.
