For years, Republican candidates for California State Controller have struggled to break through the 37% mark in statewide primaries.
This campaign exceeded that benchmark and is currently earning more than 42% of the vote as ballots continue to be counted.
The experts said it couldn’t be done.
The polls had us at 30%.
Yet nearly 2 million Californians voted for , government accountability, and the simple idea that taxpayers deserve to know where their money goes.
This campaign was never about anything other than restoring public trust in government.
We didn’t just outperform expectations—we proved that Californians are hungry for transparency.
