Congratulations to our 2026-2027 Outstanding School Support Employee, Mrs. Ashley Coburn!

Mrs. Ashley Coburn goes above and beyond her duty of being a school registrar/guidance clerk. She always makes students and families feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning of their experience at Sorrento Primary. Ashley offers support to families and students whether it’s helping them with registration, checking in on their attendance or even helping a student who may just need a quick “pick me up”. Her caring and loving disposition always makes those around her feel heard and seen. It is for these reasons that so many continue to reach out to her time and time again for assistance. We proudly recognize Ashley as our Outstanding School Support Employee!

On Tuesday, we loved being able to to our librarian, Mrs. Rhonda Painter!

Mts. Rhonda does so much more than run our library, she truly helps to keep our entire campus running. She is always willing to step in wherever she is needed, goes above and beyond for our staff and students, and somehow does it all with a smile. She is dependable, supportive, and always ready to help, and our campus simply wouldn’t be the same without her!

Many of our Mudbugs saved up and cashed in 81+ Dojo points they earned for their good behavior for August’s Treat with the Principal! They enjoyed a giant popsicle and spending time with Mrs. Lundin and their friends.

It’s been a wonderful start to the school year!
We are so proud of all our Mudbugs and grateful for the amazing energy, learning, and excitement they’ve brought to campus.
We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and so many memories to cherish!

Congratulations to our Mighty Mudbugs for the month of August!! These students were selected by their homeroom teacher for exhibiting our school-wide expectations of being Responsible, Respectful, and Safe. They had an opportunity to have some special time with their peers while eating a delicious donut and received a Mighty Mudbug heart tag.
