It is with great sadness that the Camp team shares the passing of Jay Ryon on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Jay was a cherished part of our camp family: a kind spirit, a friend to so many campers and staff, and someone who brought warmth, laughter, and energy to every day at camp. Between running activities, cleaning and being a helping hand anywhere that was needed, Jay was an integral part of camp. As the son of our Camp Director, Maggie, he grew up here and helped shape the community we all love so deeply.
During this incredibly difficult time, we ask our camp family and community to keep Maggie, his girlfriend, Trinity, and the Camp team in your thoughts and prayers. We are grieving together and honoring the impact Jay had on all of us.
Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we ask that everyone allow them space as they navigate this unimaginable loss. We will share information about ways to honor Jay’s memory when appropriate.
