Please note that Breitung Township has N95 masks available for free to anyone that would like one. We are open today (Thursday) until 2 PM, feel free to stop by.

Need one once we are closed? We will leave a small supply at the post office; please take only as many as you need so that others may also have the opportunity to get one. Thanks!

Breitung Township had an excellent crew of judges today - thank you Katy, Stephanie, Corrine, Dianna, Randy, Cindy, Trudy, and Teresa!

We are looking for more election judges! Please get ahold of the clerk's office if you are interested; judge positions are paid as are all judging related activities (training, testing, etc). Call 218-753-6020 or email [email protected] and we'll get you set up!

The polls are now closed and the counting begins. Thank you to all of the election judges who are working so hard today to ensure fair and accurate elections!

Big News Breitung Residents and Visitors!

Breitung Township and the City of Tower are preparing update our Joint Comprehensive Plan. We'll be utilizing Arrowhead Regional Development Commission to develop our plan, but we can't do it without YOUR help.

As residents and visitors, your thoughts, needs, and opinions are what will drive our plan. With that said, we invite you to please take part in a short survey (it will take about 10 minutes). You can access the survey at: Surveymonkey.com/r/Tower-BreitungPlan

The survey is open through September 4, but don't wait, complete it now so we can start getting a feel for what YOU want to see developed in our communities!

Hello Residents & Visitors:

Our recreation facilities - including the ballpark, skating rink & shack, volleyball court, basketball court, playground - are available for your enjoyment. We want all of our residents and their guests to have the opportunity to get out and enjoy Breitung Township! With that said, we've been seeing some minor vandalism and a lack care being taken care of our facilities and amenities (such as the basketballs and volleyballs we provide for your use). At this time, we'd like to ask that parents and guardians to have a quick chat with their kids about taking care of public amenities and being considerate of other users in our community. These items are taxpayer funded, so we hope it's important to you that they're well taken care of, thanks!
