Upcoming Street Construction Notice

Please be advised that NPWA construction work will be taking place on Franklin Avenue, beginning Monday, August 24th and is expected to take 3 months. Construction will occur in 3 stages:

• First Block of West Broad Street & Highland Avenue.
• Once completed, the next Block, between Highland Avenue & Garfield Avenue.
• Final Block of Garfield Avenue and Lawn Avenue.

The project will involve sawing/cutting roads, installing new pipes. After the new main is installed, cleaned, sanitized tested, and deemed safe, they will hookup the services to the new main. Then take old main offline. Once, completed and final paving will take place. Final paving may hold off till next year to allow for settling.

During this time, you may experience temporary traffic delays, daytime noise, and limited parking. In the evening, road closures and delays will be lifted. No parking for residents will be kept to a minimum to alleviate some street parking concerns.

Join us on August 28th from 5:00–9:00 PM at Rotary Park as we celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Perseverance Fire Company and enjoy an evening of community fun!

🚧 IMPORTANT PARKING & ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION:

Temporary road closures will be in place on Wile Avenue and Reliance Road in the area of Rotary Park. Some municipal parking lots will also have restrictions.

Parking will be available at Grace Bible Church and Zwingli Church.

♿ Handicap Parking: RE/MAX, 504 Harleysville Pike. Please use the entrance/exit off Harleysville Pike to access the lot.

🏊 The Souderton Pool parking lot will be reserved for pool patrons only. Parking along Colonial Avenue should also remain available for Souderton Pool customers.
