🎭BROADWAY’S BEST LUNCH🎶
Wednesday, JUNE 10, 12:00PM
Oh What a Beautiful Mornin’ it will be for a themed lunch, journey through some of the most beloved Broadway standards, and educational presentation! Oscar Hammerstein is the backdrop for this event. During our themed lunch, we will hear from favorite performers Shannon and Cayden (piano and vocals) who will share some of the most beloved Broadway standards of all time, from shows such as The Sound of Music, The King & I, South Pacific, Oklahoma!, Carousel, and Showboat.
After lunch, enjoy a presentation by Julie Flack, of the new nearby Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center. We will learn how this lyricist and librettist changed musical theatre in both his writing and his mentorship to young Stephen Sondheim.
Our lunch menu features varied flavors from around the world showcasing the cultures from some of Hammerstein’s shows!
Cost: $20 includes your themed meal, choice of beer, cocktail or soft drinks, plus coffee/tea, and performances/presentations, and is due with registration. All proceeds from this fundraising event benefit our Center and Meals on Wheels programming. Seating is limited, and reservations are required. Stop by or call our front desk at 215-723-5841 to register and pay by June 4.
