Due to widespread power outages and storm damage across the district, Hardin-Jefferson ISD will remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2. The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our number one concern.

Due to the anticipated impacts of the tropical system and the potential for hazardous travel conditions, Hardin-Jefferson ISD will be closed on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

All extracurricular activities, practices and games scheduled for Tuesday are also canceled.

Last week’s Board of Trustees meeting featured a Campus Spotlight on the Hardin-Jefferson Athletic Booster Club, which raised more than $217,000 last year to support HJ student-athletes and athletic programs!

We are incredibly grateful for the Booster Club’s dedication, hard work and continued support of our Hawks and Lady Hawks.
