Good morning August 4th will be changing a culvert on Fowler River between 8:00 and 11:00 by the cemetery not sure if we have to pull the whole thing out at once or half and half to be safe and easier please find another route thank you and have a great weekend

We'll be cutting brush on Washburn Road today so please watch for the signs and slow down thank you very much and also will be cutting brush on shim Valley Road today please do the same respect and watch the signs and the guys thank you

Public announcement...We found out today that the state will be posting weight limit signs on Friday,March 6,2026. Therefore Alexandria will be posting that day as well. Please try to plan your deliveries prior to then. With warmer weather on the way, roads will start to thaw and heavy trucks can damage the roads. Thank you . Please pass this message on

Due to the projected up coming storm that is expected to hit our area today and continue thru Monday evening, it has been decided, for the safety of employees and town residents, that the Alexandria Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, January 26,2026.
