The Alexandria Board of Selectmen will be meeting on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the conference room at the municipal building to gather public input on additional options that have recently become available for the Alexandria Transfer Station.

******** UPDATE Day 3 5:49pm ******
Crew have continued to make good progress despite some heavy rain today.
There is one house that still requires a new culvert to be able to get access to it.
That should be completed tomorrow morning.
Signs and barriers are still out please respect the workers and equipment.
There will be road closures tomorrow. Once we get a plan we will make sure to post updates.

Bailey Road and Plummer Hill roads remain closed for the remainder of the day.
The closures allow us to have several crews working on the roads at the same time.
Thanks for the cooperation.

Plummer Hill Rd is closed to allow work to continue. Bailey road and Burns Hill Rd is open to local traffic only. If you can please go around and avoid our crews.
