The South Bend Police Department's annual National Night Out event is taking place on Tuesday, August 4th at the South Bend Police Department, located at 701 W. Sample Street from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.!

This family-fun event will include free food and drinks, games, prizes, entertainment, the opportunity to check out police/fire equipment, and hang out with first responders from several local public safety agencies.

The BRAIN Lab, in collaboration with the Autism Society of Indiana will be hosting a Sensory-Friendly Touch-A-Truck Event that is inclusive to all! Enjoy a calmer atmosphere with limited vehicle noise, sensory aids, and a quiet rest area available throughout the event. Families and children of all ages can climb aboard, explore, and interact with a variety of vehicles at their own pace.
This event will be at the Veldman Family Psychology Clinic located at 501 N Hill St, South Bend, IN 46601.
Be on the lookout for a social story intended to help children feel more comfortable and confident before the event!
