Route changes begin Tuesday, September 8, and Transpo is offering FREE FARES for a limited time to help passengers adjust to the new routes and schedules.

📅 Tuesday, September 8 – Saturday, September 12
💰 All passenger rides are FREE!

We encourage passengers to use this week to familiarize themselves with the new routes and schedules.

Please note: Passengers with active Transpo passes will not be reimbursed during the free-fare period.

💵 Regular fares resume Monday, September 14, 2026.

The Parisi legacy continues! After 44 years, Parisi's Ristorante that South Bend has loved closed its doors, but yesterday broke ground for The Parisi, a 38 unit condominum community near Notre Dame.

In speaking with Mr. Parisi, he told me that he looks forward to retirement, living in one of the units, and letting others take care of business.

Congratulations to the Parisi family and to Seven Diamonds LLC development group! We look forward to the ribbon cutting ceremony in July 2027.

Today, Notre Dame and the City of South Bend broke ground on the "Colfax Corner," research & innovation hub, and Downtown South Bend's new Tech and Talent District.

The project will locate over 400 high-tech jobs to downtown South Bend with a projected $750 million direct impact to the local economy over the next ten years.

This transformational investment in the heart of South Bend's downtown could not be possible without the public, private, and nonprofit partnerships that make this a reality. Thank you to all partners for investing and believing in South Bend Downtown's 2045 vision!
