We’re excited to welcome Artavia Franklin to the Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County team as our newest Board Member!

Artavia brings a strong financial background as a Community Lender for Centier Bank, along with enthusiasm for our mission and the young people we serve. She is passionate about strengthening our communities through education, access to resources, and helping our local families thrive.

We’re thrilled to have Artavia’s experience as part of our Board of Directors as we advance our mission to deliver client-centered, trauma-responsive, and preventative services and support to youth experiencing safety and housing crises.

On September 30th, brave Edgers will rappel 25 stories down Liberty Tower in downtown South Bend, all to raise critical funds for youth experiencing homelessness and housing crises in our community.

A healthier future starts with one small step. 💛
We’re excited to partner with VOICE to help our youth learn more about the risks of va**ng, and when they’re ready, find support to quit.
A big thank you to Anneka Ruffin for dropping off Quit Kits filled with helpful information, fidgets, treats and resources! We’re looking forward to having her back on September 15th to connect with our youth at the Drop-In Center.
This partnership is about more than quitting, it’s about giving young people the information, support and voice to make healthy choices. 🙌

More Than a Drop-In

A place to eat. A place to connect. A place to belong. 💛🖤

At YSB’s Drop-In Center, young people can find more than a safe place to spend time. They can find community, resources, support and a little fun along the way. Thanks to partners like South Bend Police Department for bringing supplies! Then we have Charity throwing down in the kitchen for a home cooked meal 🔥
