Participation in the daily spirit themes is optional.
Students who choose not to participate should come to school in their regular school uniform.

For the very first time since our Fine Arts designation in 2018, our entire student body and staff gathered together for our launch of "First Fridays"!

This will now be a monthly tradition where we:
- Give student and staff shout-outs
- Celebrate birthdays
- Enjoy team-building activities
- Encourage strong choices and positive growth in attendance, academics, and behavior

Today’s kickoff was unforgettable! Following the recognitions, we were treated to brave staff members and students competing in intensely entertaining games of musical chairs. What an inspiring addition to our ongoing school culture and community. We can't wait for next month!

Beacon Health System will host its Black Men in White Coats Youth Summit on Saturday, October 3, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center in South Bend.

The free event, open to youth ages 8 and older, will offer mentorship, exposure to careers in medicine and opportunities to connect with healthcare professionals and peers. Lunch will be provided.

Participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, and children under 13 must attend with an adult or designated chaperone.

SBCSC families, please remember that next Wednesday, September 9 will be a 2-hour delay.

Classes will begin 2 hours later than the regular start time to allow our teachers and staff time for professional development (PD).

Thank you for planning accordingly, and we appreciate your support of our educators!
