💚 World Mental Health Day — October 10

This year’s theme reminds us of something important: every person’s experience matters, and every voice deserves to be heard.

For older adults, a lifetime of experiences brings wisdom, perspective and stories worth sharing. That includes experiences with mental health, caregiving, grief, loneliness, resilience and finding connection.

At our Senior Enrichment Centers, we believe in creating a community where people can be themselves, build meaningful relationships and know that their voices matter.

On World Mental Health Day, we encourage all of us to listen a little more closely, check in with one another and make space for real conversations. Sometimes being heard is where connection begins. 💚

Our first annual **Senior Resource Tailgate** at Portage Commons was a TOUCHDOWN! 🏆❤️ A HUGE thank you to our incredible participating agencies, amazing volunteers, and wonderful guests! for making today such a WIN! From sharing valuable resources to making meaningful connections, everyone went the EXTRA YARD to make this event special! ❤️ We may have hosted the tailgate, but YOU were the real MVPs! Thank you for helping us score BIG for our older adults and community! 🏈🙌
