🚫🔥 BURN BAN REMAINS IN EFFECT 🔥🚫

The South Boston Fire Department would like to remind everyone that the current burn ban is still active due to extremely dry conditions across our area.

Please use extra caution with:
• Grills and smokers
• Welding or cutting operations
• Farm and lawn equipment
• Chains dragging from trailers
• Any machinery that may create sparks or heat

Even a small spark can quickly turn into a dangerous wildfire under these conditions. We ask everyone to remain alert and help protect our community, homes, and first responders.

If you see smoke or fire, please report it immediately by calling 911.
