While it may be the largest inflatable Candy Cane in the world, Guinness WR couldn’t categorize it! 😀
We’re just happy Colossal Candy Cane #1 made it back up this season and is making kids crazy in Kingston once again!

Never enough…

I said there wouldn’t be any more additions to the SnowFlakeHouse Christmas display. But, there is one more...

While many trees are being cut over the holidays, we decided to add one. We’re calling this Colorado Blue Spruce ‘Plus 1.’ Hopefully she’ll take off and be ready in a few years for lights and ornaments in her permanent spot!

Due to the strong winds expected through Sunday 11/29, Rudolph and the Colossal Candy Canes will not be inflated!

Rain, snow and winds over 10mph can put a lot of unnecessary stress on them. Hope to see you around when things calm down!

SnowFlakeHouse Update 2021)

Each year we have added something new and unique to the SnowFlakeHouse Christmas display. One year, we added MonsterFlake (a snowflake made from 16 strands of lights). Another year, we designed and made (3) colossal candy cane inflatables: each measuring 30 feet tall. Then there’s Rudolph… he has been towering 28 feet over kids for more than a decade! It’s our hope that we continue creating lasting memories for everyone through the Holidays in a ‘unique’ way. ;)

This year we’ve recycled several sheets of plywood from last year’s temporary inflatable platforms and whittled out and painted several dozen life size cartoon characters that we hope you and yours will enjoy as much as we did making them!

It takes us several weeks to set up the display alone, and it’s important to beat any type of inclement weather… So, don’t be surprised by the aerial lift…lights going up… or the occasional cartoon character staring back at you when driving through Kingston! There’s a reason why we start early, and it’s not to drive you mad! (fwiw- many of you got there on your own)
