UPDATE - Not even enough time to get a good nap in and Mom is on the way to get her!

Missing your furry companion? This lovely lady was found wandering in the area of Spear Street and Swift Street. She appears to be sleepy from her adventure and is trying to take a much needed snooze in the dispatch center (if only the phones would stop ringing so much it would be much more peaceful for her). If she is yours, or you know where she belongs, please give us a call at 802-846-4111. Until then, she'll be safe and loved, amd maybe a little spoiled with our dispatchers.

Lost & Found Dog Alert

One small dog with a bark and bite that may only reach your ankles, but a personality that takes up the whole room!

If you’re missing a little fluffball with a big attitude (and probably a tiny crown at home), let us know! Let’s get this pint-sized royalty back to their throne!

Share to help reunite this larger-than-life pup with their human!

UPDATE - Sir Spotty Nose has been reunited with his family.

Looks like someone decided a rainy day was the perfect time for an adventure! This sweet brindle-colored dog with striking blue eyes and an adorable spotty nose was found near Oh My Dog Daycare (Lime Rock Rd / Ethan Allen Dr).

If this soggy sweetheart belongs to you (or you know who they belong to), please contact the police department so we can help get them home. Unfortunately, he does not have a chip.

Please share to help reunite this pup with his family!

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of hosting a luncheon to celebrate and connect with some of the wonderful participants in Project Good Morning (PGM).

Project Good Morning is a program designed to help our senior and disabled neighbors maintain an independent lifestyle through daily check-ins with our dispatch team. These calls provide reassurance, connection, and peace of mind for both participants and their families, knowing there is daily contact with a loved one.

We are grateful to our participants for allowing us to be part of their daily lives and thankful to our dispatchers for the care and dedication they bring to each morning call.

If you or a loved one would like to be a part of the program, or have more questions, please visit our webiste at https://www.southburlingtonvt.gov/334/Emergency-Communications-Center or call us at 802-658-7969 for more information about signing up.
