Today is bittersweet as Zebulan Dumont and Corbin Peterson received their “Rudis of Freedom.” Historically, when a gladiator earns their freedom, a rudis is what they receive to signify their freedom.

Both of these leaders have been instrumental members of the Brawler family since 2019. Both are moving on to bigger things. SSG Dumont is moving down the road to U.S. Army Recruiting Station Glens Falls, NY to serve as the Station Commander and SSG Peterson is going back to the center of the universe (Ft Liberty, formally Ft Bragg).

They will be sorely missed, but we know they are moving on to crush their goals and dreams! We wish you the best of luck!

Did you know the US Army provides the opportunity for Legal Permanent Residents to quicken their citizenship process after enlisting?

For some, they could have their Naturalized citizenship completed by the time they finish Basic Training!
