Friends of Varden Conservation Area 225 Tannery Road, Varden, Wayne County, Pa donated by Dr. Mead Shaffer Fishing and hunting are permitted at the VCA East - Tannery Road Access only.

The VCA lends itself to walking, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, picknicking (carry-in, carry-out), berry-picking, and ice-skating. http://www.vardenconservationarea.com/history.html
