Our steam table in our kitchen is broken, and while we wait for our new steam table to be installed, some of our lunches may not match what is on the KCS menu for elementary schools. Thank you for your patience with our menu!

I will try to post lunch updates throughout the week. Some may be the same as our regular menu, and some may be changes.

🐎💚 WHAT A WEEK, MUSTANGS! 💚🐎

We made it through our first full week at Ruthlawn, and our Mustangs have been showing us that they R.I.D.E. every single day! 🐴

This week was BUSY! We reviewed and re-learned our school procedures, completed beginning-of-the-year assessments, and jumped right into our Savvas Reading and Math & You instruction. 📚✏️ Our Mustangs have been working hard, learning lots, and settling into an amazing school year!

We also had some classes earn their Attendance Rewards! 🎉🙌 We LOVE celebrating students who are showing up and ready to learn!

And today was MUSTANG CLUB DAY! 🐎✨ Our students earned the opportunity to participate in positive behavior clubs, including Building Club, Coloring Club, Dance Club, Playground Club, and MORE! 🎨💃🛝🧱

We were also SO excited to welcome Miss Metro Valley to Ruthlawn this week! 👑📚 She visited our classrooms and read to our students—and let me tell you, a true queen! 💚🤍 Thank you for spending time with our Mustangs and helping us make reading extra special!

What a wonderful way to wrap up our first full week! We are already seeing so much RESPECT, INDEPENDENCE, DETERMINATION, and EXCELLENCE throughout our school.
