Do you know my family? This very sweet and pretty lady was located on Interocean Ave. and brought in by a Good Samaritan to see if she was chipped. She is chipped but not registered. We were not able to hold her and asked that she be taken to South Suburban Humane Society.

🚨 Found: 2 dogs near Forest Preserve Drive in South Chicago Heights this afternoon by the South Chicago Heights Police Department. Both dogs appear to be in good condition Please help us locate their owners. Contact the fire department at 708-755-9589. Owners will need to provide proof of ownership.

Busy Village Board meeting tonight for us. We are pleased to announce the promotion of the following members of the South Chicago Heights Fire Department. Their dedication, leadership, and exemplarity in service to our community have earned them this well-deserved advancement.

Recruit Luis Garcia to Firefighter/EMT
FF Rogell Jr. Hamilton to Engineer
Lt. Mike Stokoski (Michael Ray) to Captain

Please join us in congratulating our team on this milestone and supporting them as they continue to serve with courage and integrity. Thank you to all who have contributed to their success, including mentors, peers, and families.

Tonight we also recognized Captain Jeremy Mccool's15 years of service to the department and congratulated Inspector Steve Kozlowski on his retirement. You will be missed around the firehouse Steve. The coffee is always on for a good conversation.

We are proud to congratulate several of our Candidate Firefighters who graduated last evening from the Prairie State College Fire and EMS Program.

A special congratulations to Firefighter Emily Reichard, who was awarded Valedictorian of the EMT Program—an outstanding achievement!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Breakfast with Santa, hosted by the Village of South Chicago Heights! What an amazing turnout!! The room was filled with smiling faces, holiday cheer, complete with pancakes, laughter, and plenty of holiday sparkle and so many special moments shared together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this tradition unforgettable! ❤️
